Join us for Fun on the Farm! This summer we are offering 3-day half-day camps with opportunities to pet, groom, feed and interact with the animals here on Darby Farm, including horses, goats, chickens, ducks, geese and rabbits! We will also learn about edible flowers, organic gardening techniques, and natural beekeeping.

Sample Schedule:
Day 1: Poultry  (Chickens, Chicks, Ducks, Geese) and Rabbits
Day 2: Dairy Goats and kids
Day 3: Horses and herd maintenance
9:00-9:30 Arrival and introductions, information regarding animal interactions, including respecting their herd/flock hierarchy and instincts
9:30-10:30 Visiting/feeding/petting/grooming farm animals
10:30-11:00 Snack/water break and game time
11:00-11:30 Visiting the garden, learning about edible flowers, herbs and medicinal plants
11:30-12:00 Lunch
12:30-1:00 Craft time

• Water bottles, a healthy, farm-to-table themed lunch and snacks are included.  All meals and snacks offered are tree and peanut free. We are unable to accommodate any other dietary restrictions. (Your child is welcome to bring their own snacks/lunch/drinks if they prefer, refrigeration provided)

• Hand sanitizer and bug spray are provided, please consider providing your child with sunscreen/sunglasses and/or a hat, as we will be outside

• We ask that children please wear sturdy, close-toed boots or shoes (no flip-flops, please) and comfortable clothes suitable for visiting a farm
